Impact of Removing Stamp Duties on Insurance 2015 REport
The Insurance Council of Australia has engaged Deloitte Access Economics to prepare a note on the economic efficiency impact of:
- Removing the Emergency Services Levy (ESL) in NSW, and replacing it with commensurate increases in land taxes; and
- Removing all insurance-based stamp duties across Australia, including the ESL in NSW, and replacing them with commensurate increases in land taxes.
