Brian Francis
Company Secretary & General Manager Corporate Services
Brian is responsible for all obligations as required under the
Corporation Law and other Statutes. He ensures that all Board and
member policy directives are carried out and comply with all
relevant laws. He is also responsible for ensuring that the highest
standards of corporate governance are maintained and that all ASIC
reporting and statutory obligations are met.
As General Manager Corporate Services, Brian is responsible for
managing the general functions of the Council. This includes
statutory, management, tax, general accounting, human resources,
payroll, office accommodation, insurances and information
technology services.
Brian has more than 35 years of experience in the general
insurance industry, having worked in New Zealand, South Africa and
Australia in a variety of executive positions.
